Welcome to the Budokwai Shotokan Karate S.K.I (GB) website

Bodokwai Karate Club in Blackburn was formed in 1980, and is instructed by Sensei Kevin Clark 6th Dan, who is highly regarded in Martial Arts circles, Kevin is the current British Masters Kumite and Kata Champion.

Shotokan Karate is widely regarded as a strong and powerful Style of Karate.

Budokwai affiliates to S.K.I.E.F

Kara-te literally means 'empty hand' and is a complete system of attack and defence using a variety of techniques based around kicks and punches. Shotokan is a traditional form of karate and is the largest style worldwide.
